TNPA named African Port Logistics and Infrastructure (Pty) Ltd, trading as KHOLD, as preferred bidder for a fresh-produce terminal in Durban’s Maydon Wharf precinct. The authority described a planned investment of R250m.
The concession is intended to handle fresh produce and compatible break-bulk cargo. TNPA said negotiations on the Terminal Operator Agreement would follow the preferred-bidder announcement.
What it means
Civic Ledger records the bidder status and investment exactly as TNPA described them. It does not treat a preferred-bidder announcement as a completed contract or completed infrastructure.
